Ingredients:

  • 4 cups of your favourite Bolognese sauce (homemade or store bought)
  • 1 box (375 g) of precooked lasagna pasta (oven-ready)
  • 1 1/2 cups of OIKOS 2% plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 ½ cups fresh spinach, chopped
  • 2 cups of grated mozzarella cheese
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped or crushed with a garlic press
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • Salt, freshly ground pepper

Preparation steps

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350° F)

  • In a bowl, mix the 2% Oikos yogurt with the garlic and spinach. Set aside.

  • In a 30X20 cm (12X8 in) Pyrex dish, spread ¼ of the sauce, cover with 3 pasta noodles.

  • Cover with ¼ of the sauce and half of the cheese and add 3 pasta noodles.

  • Spread the 2% Oikos yogurt mixture and cover with 3 pasta noodles.

  • Cover with ¼ of the sauce and cover with 3 pasta noodles and finish with the remaining sauce and cheese.

  • Cover and cook for about 40 minutes and finish uncovered on the grill for 3 minutes.

Yogurt contains many essential nutrients and is a great way to help reduce fat in recipes. Quantities may vary depending on the recipe; however, we encourage you to experiment.
